Hand Trucks

Performing the following recommendations will maintain your MightyLift hand truck in optimum operating condition.
Maintain wheels lubricated and check your tires for wear, bulging or damage and replace as needed.
For pneumatic tires, check all 4 nuts and bolts on the hubs and tightened if necessary. Maintain lubricated and tire pressure at 35 psi. Use a hand pump only to inflate tires.
For aluminum hand trucks, check components for looseness, missing fasteners, stress cracks, or wear. Tighten or replace fasteners and replace components as needed.

Wheels & Casters
Keeping your pneumatic wheels properly maintained will extend their life and keep them in good working condition. These are our recommendations:
Check all 4 nuts and bolts on the hubs are tightened and replace if necessary. Do Not inflate if bolts are missing.
The recommended tire pressure is 35 psi. Use a hand pump only to inflate tires.
Following these easy steps will ensure you are choosing the right size caster.
Measure the length and width of the top plate.
Next measure the bolt hole pattern from the center of one hole to the center of the other lengthwise and repeat widthwise.
Measure the diameter by laying the wheel flat on its side and measuring from one side to the opposite side. To measure the width, place wheel upright and measure outer edge to outer edge.
The overall height is the measurement from the top of the top plate and the bottom of the wheel.
For swivel casters, the swivel radius is easily measured by laying the down the caster and measure from the center of the kingpin to the back edge of the wheel.
